Posture / Alignments
The posture plays a key role in the controll of gravity centre, and both being the key to balance.
A good posture and alignment (place of all the joints of human body in the correct position), that they provide the ideal mobility and functionality (withougt tensions) of the musculoskeletal system, fostering a more relaxed learning technique and more quickly and efficiently performance.
Each individual it has their one morphology vs posture and this influences the quality of movement of each one.
The learning needs to respect the physical characteristics of each one, so there isn`t two equal technical moves, two ways of taking the racketl, two equal moments of contact, two strategies off balance, etc.
For example, the movement for a player to prepare the "forehand" it may be more natural and fluid with a down backswing (eg Nicolai Davidenko) and to another player it may be the over backswing (eg Goran Djokovic). It depend of each morphology..
The poor posture it causes re-alignment, imbalances and compensations, which in turn it causes tension throughout the body and hinder a quality movement.
In work posture the head position and the conscious inhibition (ability to take tensions) they are the two most importante factors. that influence greatly the stability of vision in movement.
A good posture allows active relaxation and also allows the stabilization of vision in movement.
This two factors are fundamental in tennis game in which the movement and change of direction they are constant.
There are several types of posture depending on the action to take.
The posture of our body it changes depending of the type of movement that takes place in.
The posture when the player contacts the ball with the racket it`s necessarily different from what he has when is moving to that ball.
The balances in the body when we need to perform different actions, require the different positions of various body parts, including arms, legs and head.
